Transfer to Roseville, CA!!

Hello Keluarga dan Kawan, (Malay)

Mom I do agree with you. I'm eager to Email you too and everyone else. I hope I can get through this cause my allergies are hitting me hard. I also had trouble sleeping last night as well for two reasons one is the allergies and the second reason will be announced later. Any who... Let’s see the news on “Missionary Weekly”... zzZZzz... Welcome to “Missionary Week”, where we check out the Missionaries in the field. Today, we see how the Nevada City Missionaries spent their last week working to get the ward back on their feet. Also lets see about transfer calls. Let’s see whose going and whose staying. All this and more on Missionary Weekly...(Fanfare)
Missionary Weekly
05/01/12 - Not much happen this week.  FINALLY we got 5 names of less active members to go visit for this week. BOO YA!!  We plan on visiting each one of them this week.

05/02/12 - This day we did what we said and we went out and visited all the names that were given us.  On this day only three were home. A bonus for us was that we got invited in and got several return appointments. One appointment we had for dinner, but that's another day.

05/03/12 - This day we went to a Methodist church and converted the local Pastor and the whole congregation, just kidding. We went over there and fed the homeless dinner. It was a humbling experience and an enjoyable one, kind of.  Now almost every homeless person out here looks familiar to me. lol

05/04/12 - This day we did some more contacts with the names that weren't home last time.  We got into one home where just the father was home.  The reason they haven't been to church is because the father's medication makes him drowsy. After that we had dinner with one of the less active families. We had nice delicious ribs. Apparently, they used to house the missionaries where this family used to live.  Guess what our dinner conversation was about? Politics....zzzzzzzzZZZZzzzz...  It took me a while to get what they were saying, but I got it at the end.  Yeah, not really, I still don't understand.

05/05/12 - We attempted again to visit the one other less active member on our list.  As we walked up to the door we saw her in the house, but she didn't see us. We went up and knocked on her door, nothing. Then we tried ringing the bell, hoping she would hear that, but nothing. We thought that she probably hid, but as we walked back to the truck, we saw her in the same place just sitting at her desk with her back to us. Yeah, either she's so old that she can't hear the bell or she just completely ignored us, oh well.

05/06/12Sunday, what a special day, especially this Sunday because of TRANSFER CALLS!!!!!! So let's cut to the chase. I'm getting Transferred to_-_-_---__-.  It's so awesome. I can't wait. It’s going to be awesome to be in __---____---- again.  My new comp is__----___---___- who came out with __---_-_.

That's it for “Missionary Weekly”.  Join us next time as we continue to travel with Elder Morris in his new area.

Gosh Dang T.V. set, why doesn't work? At least I know that Q&A Corner works just fine.
Wel--__ to Q--A cor-_-.  No, I won't let this happen again. *Kick*… This is the game show that answers your questions. Have fun, finally....

Q1.  How about Transfers?  Interested in all of you, Elder Gillan, Elder Knight, Elder Buhler and especially you!  Anxious to hear what the news is.  What were you hoping would happen?  Happy about what happened?

A1. I'm getting transferred to.... you ready? Are you sure? Roseville 3rd ward, Boo Yah!!!! Elder Gillen is going to Citrus Heights and Elder Knight is staying. Elder Buhler is also staying. I was kind of expecting it to happen, since I got transferred last time after three transfers. A bet it's going to be hot and I'll be back on a bike. I'm excited about that. I'm getting tired of being in the truck on nice sunny days.

Q2.  What do you want for your Birthday?  Do you have a plan for some kind of celebration?  You should get a little cake and let your companion and roommates in on the fun.  We will be celebrating with you.  “Happy Happy Birthday” to the best son and missionary in the whole world.

A2. What do I want for my Birthday? I guess you could forget about the GPS for a while, maybe? Don't quote me on that.  I could use some music and some books, I guess.  It's hard to think of what I want when I'm on a mission. Maybe you could get me a Laptop? My I-pod? Just kidding.  How about sending a clip of Martin's skit that he did with his friend. Just have a good time with it. Maybe you could send a gift card or something? I don’t really have a plan because I don't think we can plan something that fast.

Q3.  Can we skype for Mother's Day?  What do we need to do to make that happen?  Is there a member we can call and talk to before Sunday to arrange the connection?  I really hope to see your handsome face.  That would make my Mother's Day the best ever.

A3. Yes we can! Woo Hoo! Elder Mansell said we're doing it at the ward mission leader's house. I'll just call you the day we're doing it and get it set up that way. How Cool?

Q4.  What was the happiest or best thing happened this week?  What was the hardest thing or biggest challenge for you this week?  I love hearing all about every little thing that happens during your week.  Thanks for sharing with us.

A4. The best thing is that we are definitely improving from last week. The hardest thing would be we keep running out of people to visit and trying to figure out what to do.

Q5.   Dad wants to know if you are mad about the SD card?  Do you still love us?  We are still looking and praying that we find it soon.  I even fasted for it today.  I got the email with the pictures of your roommates and Elder Buhler. Thank you so much.  Have you gotten any of your past pictures on CDs from Walgreens?  Whatever you do don't send them home at least until you have them backed-up on a flash drive or cd.

A5. Dad, I'm not mad. I still love you guys a lot. I have the pictures on a cd for my back up, but I'm going have to get some more Cds.  I'm really not mad at you guys, so please don't fret about it. I'll pray for you guys too. Have you checked the china hutch, in the cup in your bedroom, or even the wash? Try looking in those places because if I it were me that’s where I would look first.

Q6.  Have you had dinner appointments a lot this past week?  What was the best dinner you had this past week?  Have you tried anything new or that you have never eaten before?  Have you cooked anything that you were proud of and really enjoyed?

A6. Yeah we did have a lot of dinner appointments. I have to say the Ribs were the best. I haven’t tried anything new yet, but I know one thing I'm going to do when I get home is get my own Sriracha Hot Chili sauce. Ha, ha, ha talk about HOT!!!! I make great “Pigs in a Blanket”.

Q7.   What are you doing for P-day today?  What are some fun things that you all enjoy doing?  Have you done something nice for Elder Buhler this week?  Has somebody done anything nice or unexpected for you this week?

A7. Wow, 7 questions you really have a lot this time. What are we doing on P-day? Let’s see e-mail, football, visiting and all that jazz. I bought Elder Buhler a Gatorade and jerky. Does that count as something nice? Not that I know of or at least think of one off the top of my head. Oh Elder Buhler did clean the apartment. We or I accidentally fell asleep after doing service one day.

That's it for this e-mail.  Oh, before I forget, my new address is 1801 Eureka Rd. Apt. 22 Roseville, CA. 95661. So, if you want to send mail to me send it to this address, here I'll bold it, 1801 Eureka Rd. Apt. 22 Roseville, CA. 95661. Boom.... hmmm how about some Italics, 1801 Eureka Rd.
