"Words into Actions"

ಹಲೋ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ( Halō kuṭumba mattu snēhitaru) (Kannada)
Whoa this week went by quickly, so quickly that I didn't even notice, but it was a very good week.  This week topped all the other weeks of this transfer. I guess in order to explain this; I better head to “Missionary Weekly”.

Missionary Weekly
Welcome to Missionary Weekly where we Travel with the laborers of the vineyard. Today we see how a visit from a member of the Seventy can enlighten even the brightest minds. We'll see how a well planned out lesson leads to a commitment to baptism after the first lesson. We’ll read all this and more on “Missionary weekly”!!!

August 20, 2012 - What a great way to start a week with none other than a lesson, even if its a short lesson. It was just a movie, but it’s just as powerful. We had a lesson with Logan this day. We watched "Finding Faith in Christ" and talked about Christ's earthly ministry, mostly the Atonement. He is really enjoying the lessons and enjoying going to church with his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins.  I guess I should shed a little light on the subject. Logan is living with his Aunt and Uncle because his Mom is.... well, let’s just say she doesn't deserve the “Mom of the Year” award.  I guess this is all from what I have heard, so don't take my word for it.  Now he is living with his Aunt and Uncle and that's one of the reasons why we haven't set a date with him yet.  He is progressing a lot.

August 21, 2012 - I feel that Heavenly Father is really trying to humble me these past few weeks. We went to visit Jeff and let’s just say that all the misinterpretation of the Bible really ticks me off.  Ticks me off how people think it says one thing, but it doesn't say that at all. It really ticks me off and I feel like I'm becoming one of them that hold the scriptures higher than God himself, because I want to prove them wrong.  That's not why I'm out here, right? I'm here to find the searchers of truth even if that means I have to go through the "tares" to get to the "wheat". We answered his question about marriage after the resurrection, but I guess it means something else to him.  The day did get better. We just did some contacting and visits. Not much more to say about this day.

August 22, 2012 - Zone Leader Exchanges today, one of the greatest joys of being DLB. I hope you can sense my sarcasm in that sentence? Hey I wasn't stuck in my area at least. That's one thing I like.  It was fun though. We started out with service, by pouring cement for a member.  I think by the time I'm done with my mission I will be an expert in all physical labor, nah.  After we went out and did some contacting and ran into another guy that was pretty much against the church. Well, against all religion in general, which surprised me because according to Webster’s Dictionary, if you have a certain belief and practice it or do something with it, it’s considered a religion. Look it up, but anyways, after he was done ranting or whatever, he said, "After your done running on the tread mill of religion come to me." As I walked away, a thought came to my mind, “Hey at least on a tread mill, I'm getting stronger instead of just sitting on my faith alone." Whatever it's not that important.

August 23, 2012 - Zone Conference is where my understanding of the spirit really made the most sense. Elder Cardon is a really cool guy. You might like him, Martin. He served a mission in Italy and also served as Mission President in Italy. The main part of the conference was about recognizing and acting on impressions of the spirit. The Spirit shall cause our hearts to burn or we will feel Impressed on something, then we ask God what it is that was impressed on us.  He will tell us in our minds what it is. I’m referring to the scripture in Doctrine and Covenants 8:2-3, mostly two. "I will tell you in your mind and in your heart..." and he talked about inviting investigators to pray on the first visit.  He committed us to invite people to commit to baptism after the first lesson, as well, which is what we're supposed to do anyway. It was very cool.

August 24, 2012 - Now this is the moment we put the training we heard at the conference into action. We had a lesson with a potential investigator. His name is Scott G. and he came to church a couple of times with our High Councilman.  We taught him the Restoration.  We committed him to baptism with a “soft” commitment, "As you come to know these things are true will you be baptized by someone holding the Priesthood authority of God?” He Accepted. Yes!!!

August 25, 2012 - Saturday was full of just Weekly Planning and such.

August 26, 2012 - Sunday, we had another lesson with Logan this day and taught him the Plan of Salvation. It went very well. Elder Leone used some cutouts to help teach it. Logan is progressing so fast that I wish that we didn't have to worry about legal issues.

That’s it for “Missionary Week”.  Join us next time for more adventure in the California Roseville Mission.

Don't change that dial because it’s time for “WHEEL...OF... FORTUNE”, nah. I’m just kidding. It's time for Q & A CORNER!!!!!!!!!!

Q1.   Did you make any new contacts?  Do you have any new investigators?  How are the investigators you have been doing?  Did you ever catch up to Logan and has he set a date yet?  What about Mara (is that her name?)?

A1.   Yes!!! Scott G.!!!!, who we will set a date with on Wednesday. Yes, we caught up with Logan.  No baptism date yet.  Mara is just not progressing as fast. She is more plateauing. We are going to have one more lesson with her and see how that goes.

Q2.   What was the best thing that happened this week?  What was the worst thing that happened this week?  What scripture, quote, song or person inspired you this week?

A2.   The Best thing would probably be the lesson we had with Scott G. and the Half Mission Conference. The worst thing that happened was probably being shut down by the two contacts. I guess my inspiration came from the new bible video the church put out on the Beatitudes.

Q3.   I sent you a letter on Thursday.  Did you get it yet?  How long does it take for mail to get to you?  I have a plan for letter writing this week.  You may get more than your usual letters, surprise.  Who would you like to get a letter from the most?

A3.  I got it on Saturday, the one with all the pictures of the vacation and Arthur's Birthday? Yeah, I have a comment to make.... I feel like I was looking at a prison photo when I saw the Family Portrait. When you smile show some teeth. You all look how I feel, tired. lol jk,  Seriously though, I want to see your smiling faces with some teeth, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaassssssssseeeeeee. Thank you for the pictures, though. Oh and I noticed that in one of Arthur's pictures, on the Fridge a picture of a familiar Missionary. lol. Just thought I’d throw that out there. lol. The mail takes about 3 days or so, unless Sunday gets in the way then it’s 4 days. Well let’s see I’d like a letter from Martin. Mostly Martin and Dad. I did get an email from Dad and I want to again say thank you. It was nice to finally hear or read from you, Dad. lol

Q4.   What is a typical day like?  What is your favorite part of each day?  What is your least favorite part of each day?  Do you like Sundays or are they especially hard?  What did you hear and learn at Church yesterday?

A4.  Well, if you open your mini-Preach my Gospel, oh yeah, I got a mini-Preach My Gospel.  I know what I'm going to get for Martin's 18th Birthday. lol. Our days are just waking up at 6:30, exercise, shower, (I think I'm getting use to showering every morning) lol jk, then study, go out and Proselyte till about 9:00 and dinner and lunch some where in there. Sundays are pretty busy we have Ward Council from 9 to 11, church from 1 to 4 then dinner between 5:30 to 6 with a lesson right after that. Let’s say a very popular scripture was shared at church, 3 Nephi 27:27, "what manner of men ought ye to be? Even as I am."

Q5.   How was your half conference?  What did Elder Cardon talk about?  Was the conference about?  Did it motivate you and Elder Leone?  I am eager to hear your thoughts on it all.

A5.  *Please refer to “Missionary Weekly “ for information on the topic, I will send a copy of my notes soon.

Q6.   Do you want to vote this year in the presidential election?  Should I send you information about voting online or voting by mail?  I'm not sure we can still do that but I can find out.  I could send you the website address and you could register online, I believe.  Let me know what you are thinking and feeling about that?

A6.  To tell you the truth I really don't want to get into Politics what so ever, but if I have to then sure send me the info. I'll say that Politics really are crappy. I don't really like how people talk about Romney OR Obama. I'm just tired of all this crap about it, BUT I'm still in favor of Romney. Whatever happens, happens. I guess I'm just against cutting down people, whoever they are. Send it if you can. Jesus said to Love one another as I have loved you.

That's it for Q&A Corner and for this e-mail. Sorry, Lydia that your sick. Hope you get better for school.  Before you and Martin start school ask Dad to give you a Priesthood blessing to help you through the year.  Get off of the Netflix, okay? Love you all. Enjoy life and seriously if you don't want to write (even though that would be nice) email me.  I'll try and get back to you.  Until next time, Safety and peace, God bless and if you sneeze during this email bless your face. ગુડબાય (Guḍabāya), baik, Undang Auf Wiedersehen! Requesta de pache (rest in peace), Molto Bene, الوداع, Alsons y, bonum devium, 再見 (Zàijiàn), Arrivederci!, zbogom, Nasvidenje, ವಿದಾಯ (Vidāya) अलविदा (Alavidā), pożegnanie, Hwyl fawr, kwaheri,tạm biệt, sudie, Tot ziens, elveda, smell ya later, Noice, Nofo a. "Half P-day"

                                                                                          8/21/12
خوش آمدید های خانوادگی شود و دوستان (Persian)
Sorry, I don't know how to pronounce it in English. Man I don't feel like typing today, not that it’s a bad day. I just don't feel like typing. I guess I have to endure to the end, right? *sigh* So, guess we'll start with “Missionary Weekly”... zzZZzzz..... darn T.V. It doesn't like to work when you need it.*kick*.........

Missionary weekly
Welcome to “Missionary weekly”, where.... VVvvVvVVv.. (Fast forward a bit)...Today we see... VvvVVvVvVV.....

August 13, 2012 - Today was our P-day. The reason I want to start on this day is because we had a half P-day and we had an interesting experience. We were out Street contacting at the local park and we saw that there was a slow pitch soft ball game going on. We decided to take a small break, which turned into a long break. While we were watching the game a jogger came up to us and ask if we were Latter-day Saints?  We told him we are and he said that he had a couple of question for us.  He was curious on whether or not we were Christians, so we told him that we are.  We told him more about what we believe in.  He told us that he was just wondering and that he didn't know and didn't want to offend us.  He also said that all he knew about the Mormons was that there was one running for president. He wasn't an Obama fan so he just wanted to know more. We ask if we could come by and share more, but he said that his wife would not like that and would have a fit.  We gave him a Mormon.org pass along card and invited him to check it out.  We told him that all his questions would be answered on there and if he had any other questions to call us.

August 14, 2012 - Tuesday... district meeting and that was pretty much it. Well, we did go out and do some visits. It seems that the park is a good place to “find”. We went to a different park and rested from the heat and did some phone calls to set up lessons.  Of coarse everyone seemed to be busy.  As we were just chatting a guy comes up to the fence and says, "HEY ELDERS YOU NEED A DRINK?" We look over and see the guy hold up two Vitamin Waters. He gave them to us and told us that he knows how it feel to bike in the heat like this in long suit pants. We thanked him and he said that he just lives right around the corner so if we need anything his place is always open. We are planning on visiting him later this week. Like my companion says, either the Lord leads us to them or he leads them to us.

August 15, 2012 – “Same old, same old”.

August 16, 2012 - It's hot and I wish I had my planner with me so I could remember what we did. lol

August 17, 2012 - Now we come to the crazy part and the reason we had a half P-day. We had a weekly planning session and this one was a little different. We actually did the last step of our weekly planning, the companionship inventory. This is where we talk about personal goals and challenges and discuss how we can do better. For example how I'm doing better with typing without look at the keys. lol  Not really, but it was still a good goal and we plan on doing better as a companionship as well as individuals. Also that night, one of Elder Leone's investigators from his last area was getting baptized.  She wanted him to baptized her.  We took the long trip to Rocklin, a 15 min drive and went to the baptism. It was pretty cool. Elder Morris was there; he replaced Elder Leone in Granite Bay as Zone Leader. We caught up and talked about the good times. We even told President, who was also there, about the exchange we did in Grass Valley. He thought it was hilarious. Elder Morris has one more transfer after this one. He said that he would be home in time for the “Halo 4” movie.  lol  Him and I are so alike. lol

August 18, 2012 - Another crazy day. We started out the day with lots of phone calls. I guess I should do some back tracking.  There's this older couple that live in our ward and their Grandaughter was planning on getting baptized, but the Grandaughter and her family live in Fort Worth, Texas. The idea was that they do it out here, along with a baby blessing. This is not really allowed. They tried to do it here before, but always end up canceling at the very last minute.  President Weston asked us if we could supervise it and make sure it runs smoothly. We did supervise it and it went well, but I don't think we'll count it towards our baptisms. It was a free baptism from the Fort Worth, Texas Mission.

           August 19, 2012 - * see Q&A Corner.

That's it for “Missionary Weekly”.  Don't change that dial because “Q&A Corner” is next on this missionary email.

Welcome to Q&A corner!!!!!!

Sorry this didn't come to you sooner.

Q1.   How has the teaching been this past week?  Do you have any new investigators?  Do you have any baptism dates set?

A1. We struggled a bit this week. It’s tough when people are on vacation. No new investigators. No baptism dates set, yet.

Q2.   How has the weather been?  Is it still HOT?  It has been hot here and also smoky because of fires here in Utah and in the Sawtooth Mountains (where we were camping).  We had lots of smoke to deal with at Wood River too.

A2.  It's been hot, but now it’s cooling down. Man what’s with all the fires?

Q3.   I haven't gotten any news about Steve Rowzee or Doug Oman but I will do some more looking.  It doesn't appear that they post on facebook, but maybe they have websites.  How is Elder Leone doing?  His Mom and I keep in touch.  Are you both keeping each other motivated and staying upbeat?  Remember to serve each other.  What is something you did nice for Elder Leone this past week?

A3.  He's doing well. Yeah, like I said we had a good comp inventory and set goals to help us do better. I can't think of any thing particular I did for Elder Leon at the moment, but he is a good cook.

Q4.   What was the best thing that happened this week?  What was the worst thing that happened this week?  What was the best message you heard at Church yesterday?  What are you most excited about this coming week?

A4.  Getting some water from strangers and friends was good.  The worst thing would be the heat, I guess.  I enjoyed the message about service to other and to have a good attitude towards life.  A Half Mission Conference is coming up and so I'm excited for that!!! Elder Cardon is coming to talk to us.

Q5.  How many dinners did you go to this week?  What was your favorite meal this past week?  What did you cook this week?  What treat would you like to get in the mail?

A5.   We missed two days, but this week should be better. The favorite meal was spaghetti and meatballs.  That was good. We... I mean Elder Leone made these tostada things with refried beans, cheese and chicken. That was good. Um, we like gummy bears, gummy worms, and anything really. Oh and I'm still planning on sending the package soon. I just haven't gotten to the post office, yet.

Q6.  Found the receipt for your bike.  Dad wants to know if you need a new bike or money to improve this one?  I'm not the one asking the questions, it's Dad. lol

A6.  If I have to answer that question, than I just need to improve this one. How much do I have in my debit account, by the way?  I haven't been able to check. Oh and thanks for the email Dad. It’s good to hear from you.

Well, I guess that's it for this email.  I have got to find some way to save time or type faster.
Safety and peace, God bless and if you sneeze during this email bless your face ગુડબાય (Guḍabāya), baik, Undang Auf Wiedersehen! Requesta de

Let's just say it's "HOT"!

                                                                                 8/13/12
Dear Family, Friends, Members, and Fans,
Hopefully I can get some email in today, people have been on the computer. Either you will get this email today (Monday) or tomorrow (Tuesday).   I don't know why I'm writing that part because either way you have gotten this and are reading it. Any who!! Let’s get to the meat of the email, “Missionary Weekly”.

Missionary Weekly

Welcome to “Missionary Weekly”, where we journey in the wilderness with the servants of the Lord.  Today, we see how service can be colorful, and emergency Mini-missionary? See how the missionaries work on and off schedule, with a third companion, who had a birthday? See how Elder Morris celebrates his “One-year” mark in the field. Read all this and more on “Missionary Weekly”.

August 7th, 2012 - Service with a color. Today, we did service for Sister Kane, a less-active/part-member family. We helped them last week with a little bit of painting and didn't finish, so we came back today and did more work on it.  It was hot.... let’s just put it that way.  It was around the triple digits. In fact, it was in the triple digits all week, this week.  We worked from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. We took a few breaks every now and then for water, but we did mostly painting around the trim of the house. After we finished we went back to our apartment and got cleaned up.  We went to the bike shop... (Now mom breathe).... everything is okay.  My back wheel broke, again.  It was my fault, because I kind of stepped on it to lock it in place.  I didn't have to pay for anything. They just used the warranty and gave me a new one.  I just save 75 dollars.

August 8th, 2012 - We had a Zone meeting today.  We talked more on planning and getting people to church.

August 9th, 2012 - Today we got another mini – missionary.  I was pretty excited, but that changed the next day.  We also went out and tried to visit a few people, but I guess it was too hot for people to be out or talk to us.  Blasted sun, but hey all is well I guess.

August 10th, 2012 - HAPPY MISSION BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! I am now this many years old, okay just 1 year old.  It's crazy to believe that it has been a year since I left home.  My testimony has grown so much through this whole mission.  Now, I have one more year to go. Thanks for the package it was awesome. I love the Camel too. Lol  The Awesome CD I love a lot, thanks!!!! I also appreciate the letters as well.  I love hearing from all of you.  It was Capitol AWESOME!!!! This day we did weekly planning...super yey!!!! Oh, I got sheet music with the song I love.  It’s called "I heard him come".  Elder Leone had a copy so he gave it to me.  It’s really an amazing song. Oh, and also Nikki's birthday was this day as well. She is now 20!!!! Man that's cool.  Today was the time with the Mini Missionary when things were odd.  When we were biking, to the church the mini missionary nearly got hit by a truck.  Man, the conversations we had were odd as well.  I won't go into detail.

August 11th, 2012 - More Service with Color!!!  Today, we went back and finished the painting!!!! YEAH!!!! It was fun, as well. They fed us Breakfast and lunch.  It was so much fun, until we found out they were moving to Loomis soon.  The whole work was to get the house to look good to sell. Oh well, I definitely think that we built a good relationship with them.  Oh, and this is when our mini went home. So, now things should move smoothly!!!! JK!!! It was fun with him.

           That's all for “Missionary Weekly”....

Now, let’s go to our next program, Q & A CORNER!!!!!

Q1.   How has the weather been?  Sister Peterson who lives in Roseville 5th ward said it has been record heat there.  I hope you are not getting to overheated or dehydrated.  Are you taking good care of each other and making sure each of you are feeling well?

A1.   HOT, let’s just leave it at that.  It’s just hot, 108 F and it won’t get any cooler in the next 7 days.  We're definitely staying hydrated.

Q2.  How are Nikki and Andrew doing?  The story Nikki told was so touching.  She should have a great testimony.  How are all your investigators and less-actives doing?  I know you are just what they need, so keep working hard for them.

A2. They're doing awesome. We've been having trouble trying to contact them this whole week, but hopefully next week will be better.

Q3.   How is your plan coming along?  You know "Hit the pavement, find, teach and baptize!"  I hope you have found some renewed energy and enthusiasm.  It must be hard for Elder Leone the closer he gets to going home.  It would be so nice for him to have a Baptism to send him off.  He should get to see some reward for all his hard work.

A3.  It's coming. He actually is going back to Rocklin this Friday to baptize one of his investigators there.  So, we'll get one here too!!!

Q4.  What was something inspiring that happened this week?  What was the best thing that happened?  What was the worst thing that happened?  Any journal moments you would like to share?

A4.  What inspired me the most was all you guys did with the letters and package. It really helped. The best thing would be getting the package and the post cards I got today.  Thank you!!! The worst thing would be biking in the heat!!! Nothing too big, all this is really a journal entry for me.

Q5.  I loved your "I'm a Mormon" spot.  How do you feel your testimony has changed this year?  What do you think has changed the most about you the past year?  What do you think was the biggest moment or memory from this past year?  Was it a fast year or a slow year from you point of view?

A5. My testimony has changed a lot.  I always feel like I need to change it everyday. My attitude towards life and the gospel has really changed for the better. I think the biggest moment or memory was the day I went into the MTC. Another great moment or memory was having Arnett as my trainer, all my companions and the people we touch.  It’s been going way fast. I feel like I should be hitting my six-month mark instead.  lol

Q6.    What is something you want to ask us?  This Question is for you to send back to anyone you want.  Ask any question of any one and I make sure you get it answered.

A6.  Okay, my turn.  I read from Martin's postcard that a “Halo” movie is coming out, is this true doctrine? I would like to know. Let's see what else? How are the fires in Utah? Are they under control now? I don't want to get a phone call that says my family went up in flames? How is Doug doing? I haven't heard from him in a long time. Let him know that the “Sons of Seminary” still rule. He'll get the message. lol  How about Steve Rowzee, has his Mom been writing he's emails on his FB? How are the rest of the missionaries?  Could you do what you did before and put some of their emails in my letter when you get them? Thanks. I think that’s’ all. Oh, how is having the I-Pad Dad? lol See, if you wait patiently the Lord will provide the I-Pad you want.  lol!!!

Well, I guess that’s it for this email.  Are there any more questions, thoughts, or concerns?  Please, and I say PLEASE email or write me.  This is the address; 1801 Eureka rd. #22 Roseville CA, 95661.

Greater Than Okay Week

                                                                                 8/6/12
Pozdravljeni, družino in prijatelji (Slovenian)
Hey-o, hope yall had a great week. I had an Ok, greater than week. You know a greater than, less than week, not the best, but better than just okay.  Okay... well it was a greater than Okay week.  We did not meet the goals we set, BUT we did a whole lot better. I guess the best way to share it is through “Missionary Weekly”...zzZZzz....
Welcome to “Missionary Weekly” where we travel with the Lord's Servants in search of the one prepared. This week we see how the new missionaries are getting along in their new areas and how morning tracting actually is effective? Join us today as we go with the Roseville 3rd ward missionaries. (BYU Weekly Theme do do do do do do)

July 31, 2012 - Missionaries coming and going, it’s a sad but a happy day. It’s sad because old friends go to their new areas and happy because we meet with new missionaries. This day we mostly helped with the missionaries who are staying and making sure that they have someone to be with.  Oh and I also went and picked up the package that you sent that needed conformation. Thanks, for the awesome shirt and the Heleman action figure. It’s awesome!!! I was at an LDS store debating on getting one or not. Good thing I didn't. lol Thank you.

August 1, 2012 - Service today. Today we had service for a less active family. Well less-active, part member family. We helped paint the gutters and the garage doorframe, green, which reminded me of our front door. When I say OUR, I mean my house back home. It’s the same color, so talk about a trunky moment. Lol After that Elder Leone had to go to the church for a baptismal interview, so we went to the church and did that.  Oh before you jump to conclusions the baptism isn't ours. I wish.  It’s first ward’s baptism. They also have 6 more coming up.  So yeah, they're doing awesome.

August 2, 2012 - District Meeting!!! Hello, hello, hello, hello, we welcome you to--- okay enough of that. Our district meeting was about working with ward members and auxiliary leaders, which we need a lot of help on. Lol  Afterwards, we had our weekly planning. Yeah, we did paperwork. After that we had an awesome lesson with Andrew and Nikki.  Things have been getting better. Nikki is actually reading her Scriptures, and before we left we were just talking about how the Lord has helped and blessed us.  Nikki shared a story. One year around Christmas time she was out Christmas shopping and she saw a homeless guy who was coming from the east coast.  He was visiting his family and he wanted to get some Christmas gifts for them, but he had no money. So out of the compassion of Nikki's heart she took him shopping even though she herself, had very little money. She used it all to help him. After they finish shopping they started to walk home together, and the man said, "I see that you are Mormon," She was surprised because she had nothing on her that indicated that she is Mormon.  They started talking and he told her to look over her Patriartical Blessing and read over it. Now, at this point she was a little shocked because how could he know about that? They stopped and were about to part ways. From her own mouth she said that the man took off his hood and he look exactly like Jesus. She can describe it in detail. Before they parted ways he gave her a hug.  She described it. She couldn't feel him, but she could. I hope you guys can get this, but she could feel the warmth he resonated. It felt good and she turned for a second because she had forgot to give him the picture Book of Mormon he bought for his niece.  When she turned to give it to him and he was gone in an instant. Which reminded me of you Martin, with your Christmas moment at Temple Square. Remember Martin what he said if your part of the church, live like you are, or something like that. Just do what he said, I guess. lol

August 3, 2012 - Man I hate when we have a full day of lessons and they move them to another day or cancel.  I hate that. Well, the day wasn't all bad. We went tracting in the morning which wasn't that bad. We had a few contacts. One guy, we knock on his door and the first thing that popped up by the window was his dog.  It was like a husky only bigger. I mean if he stood on his hind legs he would probably knock over Dad. He's about the size of Arthur, but a really nice dog. lol  Sadly the guy wasn't interested, but was impressed on the things we did. Maybe he’ll be interested some other time. Speaking of dogs we had a lesson with Donald Kiner, the guy who asked for three copies of the Book of Mormon. I don't know if I told you this, but he has two pit bulls. Man they just love to play and jump all over us. It makes me almost want to get a dog, but we'll see. We also had a lesson with Mara. Well, more like a political discussion. We had great members there that really helped, Man I don't know what we have to do to help Mara. She seems like she's at a standstill.

August 4, 2012 - Oh wait, actually we went to visit Bro. Kiner this day, my bad.

And that's it for “Missionary Weekly”. Join us next for more fun and excitement.

Okey- Dokey, now for the fun part, Q & A CORNER!!!!!

Q1.  How has the teaching been going?  Any new investigators?  How are Logan, and the others you are teaching doing?  Any Baptism dates set?

A1. It's been pretty good.  No new investigators yet. All our investigators are well. Logan's been out of town recently, but we'll be meeting with him this week most likely.

Q2.   How is the weather been there?  Is it any cooler?  It is certainly hot in the desert or Southern Utah.  Have you done a lot of tracting?  Hope you are staying healthy and happy.

A2.  It's been cooler. We had some overcast on Saturday, so it’s been getting cooler. Actually yeah, we have been tracting and it seems mornings are good because everyone is in a good mood.

Q3.   What was the best thing that happened this week?  What was the worst thing about this last week?  Anything new you learned from scriptures or lessons?  What was the most relaxing thing you did this week?  What is the plan for P-day today?

A3.  The Best thing would be having the lesson with Andrew and Nikki. Oh, I almost forgot they're thinking about moving out of their crappy apartment to Antelope.  If they move they'll have to be taught by those missionaries. Sad day for us, I guess that counts as the worst thing. I learned don't give in to temptation and anyone can change, Alma 11-15. The most relaxing thing was just chilling at the park when it gets to hot. Today we will write letters and play some b-ball, you know that good stuff. lol...

Q4.   How is Elder Leone doing?  Is he getting anxious to go home?  What was something nice you did to serve him this last week?  Did he do something to serve you?  What is your favorite thing about Elder Leone?

A4.  He's doing great no sign of much “Trunkyness” from him. lol Let’s see, I said, “bless you” when he sneezes... I don't know if I have served him. I've been busy, but I'll do better. Let’s see he shares the desserts that we get and the leftovers. He's an awesome guy very humble and willing to work.  He plays piano too. lol

Q5.   What were the changes you were talking about in your last letter?  You said that you were both staying but some changes were coming and you would tell us about them later.  We are waiting to hear about those changes.  What is your plan to jump start the work in your area?

A5.  The Changes? Oh I just meant changes as in doing better work.  Every time I hit a third transfer in an area I feel like its time to get out and work harder, especially now since I've almost been out a year.  Just go to work, as Elder Bott says, from the “District 2”. Our plan is… "Well we are going to hit the pavement, we're going to find, teach, and baptize!"

Q6.   Martin wants to know if you are sending the sound tract you bought at the yard sale?  What was it?  I am getting some great music put together for you.  How are you packing all this stuff when you have to transfer?

A6.  Soon, soon, I haven't been able to get it to the Post Office. I'm also sending other stuff too and its up to Mom to divvy it up, so there. Oh, the CD is of a movie/video game that Martin and I like, Final Fantasy VII. There are you happy now? lol  I have a Tub or tote to move things around in.  I still have all my Christmas stuff in it and other junk too.

That's it For Q&A Corner and this email. Mom I was only kidding about abusing Q&A Corner. lol  I still love you. Glad you all had fun at Monticello without me. I hope Grandma gets better. Martin don't let Christian get to you.  You know the truth about yourself and so does your family, not just your earthly family, but your Heavenly Family as well. Your Heavenly Father Knows you and so does your brothers, Jesus and me. Don't forget if you want to get a hold of me fast email me, and write me, and don't forget what the savior said:
"Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest." - Luke 6:27-29, 35. Just know that you still have good friends that you can rely on.
