Hello
family and friends 10/22/12
Man
what a crazy week 6, lets just head to “Missionary Weekly”....
“Missionary
Week... Oh, before I do that let me answer a couple of questions that I didn't
answer last time. Yes, accept the request from Travis. He's cool and he doesn't
look like that any more.
LOG
CHOPPING SERVICE!!! Yep, we had a lumberjack service. We were cutting logs, tossing logs and delivering logs. We
were with one of our other investigators. He actual offered to deliver some
wood to one of our recent converts, so that was awesome.
Bleached
hair!!!! Elder Miller had a funny idea to bleach his hair? lol!!! I'll send
pictures soon.
Q & A corner!!!!!!!
Q1. First question would have to
be what happened with transfers? How are you feeling about that process today? Do transfers make your P-day more
hectic and different from normal?
A1. Nothing happened for transfers. We're
still together and Elder Miller is no longed District leader. That means less
exchanges, yes!
Q2.
How are things progressing for the Baptisms (November
10th)? Are all your investigators moving forward? How is
Sister Franks? How is Kyle? How is Brother Glass? What about
the new investigator? How are you feeling about all of them and their
testimonies?
A2. Sis Franks is still gung ho about it.
The other two are not as much. Well, we haven't been able to go over to the
other two homes as much.
Q3.
What was your favorite day this past week? Why would that day be
your favorite? What was the most fun you had this week?
A3. I have no idea what my favorite day
was. They were all good!!! If I
had to choose, it would be Sunday. Sunday
was a great spiritual experience and had great talks.
Q4.
Choose something in your ward, neighborhood or community that made an impression
on you? It could be a bad, good or odd impression. It could be a
person, a thing, a place or a view that made you think or take notice. We
want to hear about it.
A4. What made a great impression on me was
a talk on Sunday, by one of our high
councilmen about missionaries. I
swear this guy will be a general authority soon.
Q5. How are all your clothes
holding up? Do you need anything particular? Do you have enough
p-day clothes? What did you do on p-day today?
What o you enjoy doing on your down time?
A5
Yeah, my clothes are fine. On my down time, I pop in my “Saints and Soldier” CD
and doodle or relax. Maybe play magic or whatever it doesn't matter.
Q6.
Are you staying motivated and inspired? What scripture or talk do
you go to when you need a boost or a push in the right direction? Did
anything you taught or heard this past week renew your energy or motivate you?
A6. Yeah, it would help if you could find
Gordon B. Hinckley’s talk on missionary work. I would love to listen or read that.
Well that’s it. Sorry, the computer is crap and I got
to go.
Love ya,
Elder Morris
